About Us:

Cultivate Community Church is a Christ-centered church in South Jordan, UT, passionate about making disciples and creating a welcoming environment for families. We are seeking a dedicated Youth & Kids Coordinator to help cultivate a love for Jesus in the next generation.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a part-time Youth & Kids Coordinator to lead and develop our ministries for children (birth–5th grade) and youth (6th–12th grade). This role involves organizing engaging programs, equipping volunteers, and partnering with families to nurture the faith of young people in our church community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings and Youth Ministry on Sunday evenings.

• Recruit, train, and support volunteers to serve in these ministries.

• Develop engaging and biblically sound lessons and activities for kids and youth.

• Build relationships with children, teens, and their families to encourage spiritual growth.

• Organize occasional events, retreats, and service opportunities for youth and kids.

• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by implementing child safety policies.

• Collaborate with church leadership to align ministry goals with the vision of Cultivate Community Church. Qualifications & Skills:

• A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission of Cultivate Community Church.

• Experience in children’s or youth ministry (volunteer or professional).

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to connect with children, teens, and families in a relational and engaging way.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and with a team.

• Background check required. Position Details:

• Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week (including Sunday mornings and evenings).

• Compensation: Based on experience.

• Location: South Jordan, UT.

Multi-Church Youth Ministry in South Jordan 
One of the most exciting aspects of youth ministry in Utah is the need for collaboration! Right now, we have a multi-church youth group made up of students from three different churches, gathering together for worship, discipleship, and community. With about 15 students, this is a group with huge potential for growth and deep impact.
 
As part of this ministry, you will:
 
Build relationships with students from different churches and backgrounds. Many of these students are the only Christians in their schools, and they need a strong community to encourage them in their faith.
 
Develop creative and engaging youth gatherings. Whether it’s through Bible studies, outreach events, or small group discipleship, you will help create a movement where students grow in their faith and bring their friends along.
 
Work alongside passionate leaders who believe in reaching the next generation with the gospel.
