Youth Minister

 1.      Evangelize the youth and young adults of Alfalfa County and local community.

2.      Oversee all Driftwood Christian Church student activities involving Bible studies, VBS, Sunday School, Junior Church, camp registration, The Point, Kids Point, youth rallies and mission trips

3.      Oversight of the youth ministry budget.

4.      Be available for counseling, mentoring and other needs of our youth and at the local school (i.e. Fellowship of Christian Athletes) 

5.      Attendance at all weeks of summer camp where youth from DCC are involved. Camp fee for attending paid by DCC.

6.      Meet weekly with Senior Minister for guidance, supervision, planning and prayer.

7.      Meet with Elders as needed for guidance.

8.      Attend the monthly board meeting and present a brief written update for past and future youth activities.

9.      Come alongside the minister in organizing church-wide events

10.   Recruit volunteer staff to assist with youth ministry

11.   Responsible for parental notifications and consent forms for youth activities

Working Hours Description                                                                             

1.       Normal work week will be 40 hours.                 

2.      Paid vacation shall be earned at 2 weeks per year per 10-year service and 3 weeks over 10 years of service.
