We made a big ask this summer. We needed - urgently - new water heaters, HVAC units, and a roof.

Our plan was to ask for and receive the requested $399,125 by the end of August 2025. That would have been an amazing thing to see. What happened blew us away.

Within two months we had received not only the requested amount, but more. As of this writing, more than $500,000 has been received, with more pledged and still coming in. This is especially nice, as the costs are coming in higher than expected, and we are still able to move ahead with the needed work.

Having received this amount, we also did not need to secure a loan. That meant no fees or interest, thus more money to work with as we scheduled the work.

We are also grateful that the general fund hasn’t taken a hit during this campaign. That is such a blessing. To be able to schedule the needed work from a cash on hand position and keep paying the bills is, well, a blessing.

Many thanks to those who stepped up and helped with this. Our students, faculty, staff, and guests are benefitting. Even more, we pray that the church benefits as students are equipped for servant leadership in these improved facilities.
