Preaching and Teaching Minister

Job Description:

The Preaching and Teaching Minister, working in conjunction with the staff and appointed leadership will act as a catalyst in equipping people to fully experience the life change and transformation offered through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by ministering the Word of God through relevant preaching, engaging teaching, equipping discipleship, and Kingdom focused evangelism and outreach.

Desired Skills:

Effectively preach and teach the Word of God

Must be an example of the ministry qualifications as enumerated in 1st Timothy 3:1-13.

Must be able to relate well with leadership, staff, members, volunteers, and guests
Must have the ability to perform high quality, detailed work with minimum supervision within assigned deadlines.
Facilitate the spiritual growth of the congregation, helping in the formation of committed disciples, by identifying, equipping, and releasing an army of servant-leaders who carry out the ministry of the church.
Be available for pastoral counseling for members of the congregation and their families and have the ability to handle confidential matters and material with professional excellence.
Develop, promote, and coordinate a balanced and cohesive preaching/teaching program.
