ANNOUCEMENT: Ridgecrest Christian Church (RCC) Seeks a Bible Driven Pastor to Serve Our Congregation
Ridgecrest is an instrumental, non-denominational, independent Christian Church which is part of the Restoration Movement tradition. RCC was established 1949 and has an average Sunday morning worship attendance of 15-20. We desire to regrow. We have a beautiful sanctuary with a capacity of 225, a fellowship hall capacity of 100+, offices, classrooms, and large parking lot. We have one service on Sunday morning and a Wednesday night Potluck Meal followed by Bible Study.
We are seeking applicants to replace our deceased minister. The minister would oversee the preaching and outreach of our church. The minister will work with our leadership council, the elder and deacon.
RCC is located in Southeast Albuquerque near the intersection of San Mateo and Gibson. We are near Kirkland Air Force Base and the Albuquerque VA Hospital.
Qualifications:
A Restoration Movement Bible College graduate preferred.
Must agree with Ridgecrest’s statement of beliefs
Strong faith, characterized by spiritual maturity, discernment, and integrity
Healthy work ethic
Responsibilities:
Work to execute the church’s mission, vision, and values
Proclaim the Gospel from the pulpit with authority and wisdom
Lead the congregation with vision and encouragement to live a bold Christian life. Network with sister churches
Seek support to restart/enlarge Ridgecrest’s Christian outreach
Teach small groups & classes (new and prospective members, Bible study)
Provide pastoral care (visitation, counseling, etc.)
Promote community involvement
PAY:
Basic Pay will be negotiated based on availability, experience, and can be used as housing support. Pay can be increased as the church grows.
